Page 1 of 3 This little restaurant on the Capelands Estate wanted to emphasize live entertainment, with the likes of Franco Cenciarelli and Jaroslav Dvorsky (http://www.jaroslavdvorsky.com/) visiting our country to perform at Mangiare & Dormire.
The opening was also the first time that our installation will be showcased for the public to see, well..., hear.
Johann Innerhofer opened his French/Italian restaurant, Mangiare & Dormire, on 4 December 2009, and Visual Sound was there for the occasion. Guests were welcomed by friendly waiters, and Mr. Innerhofer himself, after which they were presented with a menu filled with Italian and French cuisine from the highest standard.
The aim of the restaurant is to give guests a unique experience that entails good food, a cheery atmosphere, and live entertainment. As for the live entertainment, they couldn’t have asked for a better performer than Kim Kasimov, who swept everyone away with her sweet jazz numbers, and Mirizca Nortjé, who accompanied Kim on the piano with her fleeting finger work.

Why was this occasion such a big deal for VisualSound? Mr. Innerhofer bought the BEAUTIFUL Yamaha grand piano, which stands proud in the foyer of the restaurant, from o ur parent company, Musikhaus W. Heuer, and VisualSound was given the task to install a good quality sound system in the restaurant.
The opening was also the first time that our installation will be showcased for the public to see, well..., hear.
Since the focus in the restaurant is on live entertainment, and not merely playing cd’s in the background, Mangiare & Dormire needed something more than your conventional ceiling mounted speakers. So this article will give you, our prospective client, a short overview of what we did over here.
